On Friday, August 28th, Jason and I headed over to The Metropolitan for our friends Andrea and Erik’s wedding reception. They were married in a small ceremony back in February, but decided to have a reception so they could celebrate with more friends and family. It was quite the party!!! It was extra fun for Jason and me because their reception happened to be in the same location where we will be getting married and throwing our own party in three short months. We have only ever been to The Metropolitan during the day when there is not much going on, so it was a lot of fun to see it filled with people celebrating and having a great time!
I work with Erik, the groom, at Capella currently and I used to work at eq-life with Andrea a million years ago (or more accurately, about 4 years ago) so it was a ton of fun to reunite with some old friends to celebrate Andrea and Erik! Thank you for having us…and congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Vieyra!!!
We had so much fun at the reception, and I was in love with my dress and not yet ready to take it off for the night so I somehow convinced Jason that we needed to stop at a bar on our way home. He obliged, but I think this pictures illustrates how happy he was that I insisted on staying out just a little bit longer!
