If you are reading this, it means you received your “Save the Date” in the mail and are here to check out the website printed on the magnet. We started this blog as a way to document the whole wedding planning process, as we have been told that the small details are easy to forget with all of the chaos. If you want to go back in the previous blog entries, you can learn a little bit more about us, how we met, how Jason proposed, and some other info about the wedding plans we have made so far. Feel free to leave comments after any of the posts, we like to know that you were reading it and would love to hear from you (even if it is just to say hello!) I have been trying to update the blog at least every other week, so check back often to see if there are any updates. We will be posting info about the hotel for those traveling to come to the wedding, info on the people in the wedding, and other adventures along the way of planning our wedding. We are very excited to see you on November 28th!!!
Today marks the one-year anniversary of the day that Jason proposed! We have been working on our “Save the Dates” for the last month or so and we finally had most of the addresses that we needed in order to get them sent out, so we figured what better day to send them out then our engagiversary?!? We spent the night making sure that everyone on our list had an envelope. Jason read the name to me and I would mark it on the guest list spreadsheet and read him the address to make sure I wrote it correctly. My writing can be a little swirly and hard to read at times, so Jason mangled a couple of the names, which I would laugh at. Jason took this as a cue to mess up everyone’s name and the process took longer than expected because I was laughing hysterically at him!
When we were all done, we had to Memorex the moment. We couldn’t quite figure out how to best do it, so let’s just say that a lot of test pictures were taken. This was the best one:

I asked Jason if he thought we should mail them together or if I should just bring them with me to work tomorrow. He said that we could run them up to the post office right then. I don’t think he was aware that I would actually want to do that at 9:44 pm on a Monday night. I am also guessing that he didn’t realize that I would make him pose for a bunch of pictures while we put the “Save the Dates” in the mailbox. It was kind of a big moment though, we had to capture it, right? The pictures didn’t turn out quite as well as I would have thought, but hey, they were taken on a street in St. Paul late on a Monday night with cars driving by constantly…what can you expect? We did get the job done, my only concern is that the “Save the Dates” are magnets…I hope none of them stuck to the side of the post office box!

love ~ jason & kellee
